Sick Baby

She'll fall asleep anywhere

In the warm living room Carly catches hours of sleep

My little baby has been battling a cough, and sniffles for a while now. Since I next to never write things down on the calendar and because this seems to be lasting forever I couldn't really tell you exactly when it began just that it's been hard on her.

This morning she had better color and that accompanied by the little mischievous sparkle in her eye that has become part of her sweet little personality. Everyone's glad to see her feeling better and I'm just so thankful that we haven't had to go in to see the doctor or needed any sort of antibiotics.
Aside from staying nice and cozy she's been wanting extra snuggles and attention, with patience it's been working. As she's getting better I'm sleeping more and feeling more alive myself.

She's 6 1/2 Months Old

How is it that she's coming up on 7 months old? And working on sitting up, and talking and I just don't blog about her enough! Lately there just seems to be so much happening with her that it's hard to keep up.

Carly now does an adorable baby talk, I'll have to try to catch it on video. :)

She has also been thinking that late hours are hours for her to be up--like hours past Deeder's bedtime. The cry it out business doesn't work since we all sleep in the same room...hopefully her hours will go back to normal soon.
